Insitec D

The Insitec D is ATEX approved on-line particle size analyzer.

  ATEX approved category 3 instrument for use in Zone 22 areas
 
  For flammable dusts
 
  Real-time particle size analyzer based on laser diffraction for particles in the size range 0.1 to 1000 µm
 
  Automatic continuous on-line operation, or manual at-line
 
Designed to meet industrial requirements for ATEX approved equipment, the Insitec D has been designed in accordance with the latest international standard for electrical equipment in dust environments – IEC 61241.
Laser Diffraction
The particle size analysis is performed using industry standard laser diffraction.


Process Interface
The Insitec D uses a modular system for connection to many different process streams.


Automation & control
The automation of the analyzer system and connection to the plant control system is facilitated via Malvern Link, a flexible approach accepting custom user interfaces, and a variety of PLC communication protocols

The analyzer system has been proven in a variety of different industrial applications, from cement to pharmaceuticals.

  • Coaxial venturi (20 mm) for fragile and low glass transition temperature particles
  • Inlet booster. Additional venturi to boost flow just after the process interface for long sample transport lines
