The AnaLight instrument ranges for Surface Science and Biophysics are designed with the needs of the end-user in mind. To this end, all of our instruments are simple to use in a convenient benchtop format, high-performance, economical, dependable, durable and accurate.

Farfield provides a range of AnaChip surfaces for molecular immobilization in Biophysics and Surface Science applications. To study structure-function and structure-behaviour relationships in molecular systems, one of the molecules is immobilized through one of a range of approaches, such as charge (physisorption), hydrophobicity and covalent chemistry.

Farfield offers a comprehensive range of AnaKit reagent kits to ensure our customers can easily and quickly choose the most suitable combination of capture surface and linker chemistry to succeed in their experiments.

AnaLight Systems for Biophysics bring Farfield's revolutionary Dual polarization Interferometry (DPI) technology into instrument formats to suit a range of classical biophysics applications in basic research, drug discovery and drug and assay development.

AnaLight gives biophysical structure-function measurements in a convenient benchtop package:

  • Quantitative, real time biomolecule size and fold density measurements
  • Unique ability to measure affinity and kinetics of both mass and structural changes
  • Dynamic conformational change measurements as they happen - no mass change necessary
  • Understand macromolecular assembly and aggregation processes

AnaLight Systems for Surface Science bring Farfield's revolutionary Dual polarization Interferometry (DPI) technology into instrument formats to suit a range of surface science and thin film applications in basic research and industrial product development.

AnaLight gives surface science, thin film and surface science structural and behavioural measurements in a convenient benchtop package:

  • Dynamic, high-resolution characterisation of thin films and nanosurfaces revealing interfacial mass and structural changes in real time

  • Measure film thickness, optical density (RI) and mass loading simultaneously
